One area of marketing that has seen a tremendous boom is in messages delivered via e-mail with graphics. You do need to take care to offer an option for people who have e-mail images turned off whether that be delivery of your message as text or a link so that the message can be viewed via a web browser.

Since you can not predict how your target customer is most comfortable receiving information, it is wise to combine an e-mail messages with direct mail and other activities to create a balanced campaign.
